What are the general Utah CLE Rules?
Each lawyer admitted to practice in Utah shall complete, during each fiscal year period (July 1 through June 30), a minimum of 12 hours of accredited CLE which shall include a minimum of two hours of accredited ethics or professional responsibility. One of the three hours of ethics or professional responsibility shall be in the area of professionalism and civility.
A minimum of 6 hours must be obtained through attendance at live CLE programs. No more than 6 hours of credit may be obtained through self-study with audio or video presentations or computer interactive telephonic programs.
Each lawyer shall pay a filing fee in the amount of $15 at the time of filing the certificate of compliance
